IF I COULD GIVE MORE STARS I WOULD! My husband and I had been in Miami for about 4 days and ready to call it quits and not return to Miami whatsoever! Everything seemed over priced and no where near worth it! On our final day we had been to ocean drive where every five feet your asked by every single person to come eat it to the point of over kill! Leaving ocean drive annoyed and miserable we walked back into fountainbleu hungry and saw a stand and hostess I read the menu not realizing it was a Michael Mina restaurant! My husband and I had heard about his restaurants many times! We approached the hostess and asked to make reservations immediately after taking our room number she said "ohhhhhhh honeymooners say no more we will take care of you" and that they did! Everything was beyond amazing! Our waiter Bulent was superb! Very attentive to the point he was taking pictures without us even needing to ask! We were sat at a table decorated for us with a card "happy honeymoon"! Thanks to Bulent our entire view of our trip has been changed. He's manners and personality really made it worth it. You can get great food many places it's the service that matters we were treated with upmost respect by Bulent and amazing food start to finish! If I ever go back to Miami it'll be to eat at Michael Mina's restaurant!

Located below Liv club. Ok atmosphere. Kinda big and empty. Our main waitress was nice and friendly, but they kept on bringing the wrong dishes and drinks...way to leave six hungry people hanging! We got food off the Miami spice menu. The appetizers were Summer Crab Rolls and Lamb Meatballs. Both were amazing! And we got Black August skirt steak and Florida Snapper. Both were good but didn't leave us craving for more. We also had the Ahi Tuna Carpaccio and Pacific Oysters. The oysters had nice presentation with dry ice sauce. The carpaccio had nice tomato flavor but wasn't the best. We had churros for dessert. They were crunchy, and came with a tasty dolce de leche sauce to dip in. Not too impressed because you can get them anywhere. Would've been better if they came with ice cream. The other dessert on the menu wasn't recommended by the waitress because it was premade. Overall it's was a good experience, but the pace didn't leave us desiring for more. Definitely recommend coming to try it once but maybe not the Miami spice menu since the dessert was not worth it. also, you can get your valet ticket validated , so it costs 15 dollars instead of 30. Groups of young girls started showing up toward end of the night around 9:30-10 pm, guess it's a good spot for sightseeing before heading to Liv

Even though this restaurant at first seems a bit hidden in the Fountainebleau, it is quite he gem. Tucked away down a dramatic staircase in the hotel lobby, Michael Mina is a dark, sophisticated quiet spot. For the most part the tables are well spaced which is a nice perk and we were seated at a large half moon private booth when you first enter. Really neat to eat here as you can pretty much observe the entire restaurant and bar while eating. The staff was very attentive and there were several people waiting on us at all times. They served up a great cocktail - the second time around, make sure you are very specific when it comes to ordering. For food, the plates are smaller portions and we shared some tuna, a unique crab appetizer and also tried the lobster pot pie. All of the food was absolutely incredible, perfectly seasoned and the pot pie had a sauce I've never tasted before and was outstanding. We went with the beignets for dessert and they were really delicious - just as good as New Orleans! Perfect place for a cocktail or light fare before an evening out.

Came here for my bday had high hope because its Michael Mina. The service was slow, food mediocre n overpriced. Ugh. Absolutly dreadful. Hotel it self is beautiful :)

How I love Miami spice .... Let me count the ways... And it's not even because of the price but because I remember all the great food we have here in our home. This place doesn't disappoint . Great normal portions, great rich taste. Great service and drinks. It's a must to try!

Pedro was amazing! So tentative and made our first dinner experience here absolutely fabulous. Steak was tender and tuna tartar was delicious. Will come back soon.

The restaurant is tucked away in the basement of the Fountainebleu hotel with just a hostess station in the lobby to indicate its existence. The menu is a combination of upscale bar food and steakhouse. We ordered the Tokyo style spare ribs, crispy brussels sprouts and the Maine lobster pot pie. The spare ribs were tasty and sweet. We couldn't taste the five spices over the sweetness. The pot pie was very creamy but the lobster itself was tough and chewy from over-cooking. The brussels sprouts were tooth-achingly sweet. The sprouts from the top of the pile with minimal contact with the sauce were actually pretty good. We actually ordered more brussels sprouts but asked for less sauce. The waitress seemed offended and said they were supposed to be like that. We were thinking, "What? It's supposed to be too sweet?" Anyway we got sauce on the side. Ended up not even using it as the sprouts were properly seasoned already. The dishes we ordered could have been very good but for execution and conceptual problems. Unless they figure that out, we wouldn't return.

Was here on a Saturday night with 6 girlfriends. They let me order a bunch of plates to share and overall the food was plenty and excellent. Only one other girl and myself wanted bone marrow dish and good thing we only ordered one. It was enormous! I have never seen so many such large bones with so much marrow! Served with chimichurri and nicely toasted crostini, it was just delicious and great value. Both skirt steak and the short rib were great. Brussel sprouts were amazing. I am typically not a fan, but kept going back for more. I felt like they were deep fried actually, but hey, you only live once! The wedge salad had a nice acidic flavor in the dressing and paired well with other dishes. We also shared Sea bass, ahi and hamachi poppers and tuna tartar. All of it was tasty. I really can't say that I didn't like any one of the dishes. Duck fries, were very large and mostly uneaten. Honestly don't remember the taste. Our waiter was great. Funny, quick and very accommodating. My only complaint is that I was not a big fan of decor. It felt like an old steak house and was slightly dingy in my opinion. Overall, great meal and drinks! I would certainly recommend.

This place would have gotten 3 stars for its service, but I gave it 4 because the food was so good. It is a romantic atmosphere with dim lighting. The server brought our menus, but we had to ask her for the Miami Spice menu. She left for a while so after we had our appetizers, we had to ask the busser for house bread. Miami spice portions were small, but very good. Summer crab rolls were good. Main entree was worth the visit. I had the black Angus skirt steak, which was well seasoned and accompanied by sweet corn in a truffled huitlacoche and lime chimichurri that bursted with pleasurable flavor. They also had a notable wine list.

Dark basement restaurant in the Fontainebleau hotel... They make nice drinks and the food is good but nothing spectacular... Mostly meat, chicken, salads, French fries.. not dissapointing if you're looking for a dim lit mellow place to eat dinner before going to Liv upstairs

Our dinner and experience was absolutely amazing. We went on a Monday night to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. When we arrived at our table, they had a birthday card waiting. The drinks were phenomenal and if you order appetizers, go for the mussels. They were so delicious. The burger my boyfriend ordered was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress was very sweet and talkative and brought out a "Happy Birthday" dessert. The restaurant is trendy but cozy. It was a Monday so was not too loud but I imagine it gets packed on a Friday or Saturday night. I would highly recommend the restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service was wonderful.

One of my favorite restaurants. When I go out to dinner, I expect excellent service, great food and a nice atmosphere. Michael Mina's has it all. Believe me, I am very very picky when it comes to places to eat. Their head chef Thomas is an artist in the kitchen, and is one of the best in south Florida. This place is awesome and you will have a wonderful time. Try a little bit of everything on the menu if you can, you'll be glad.

I'm a fan.. Never really make it up to Fontainebleau because its just too touristy for me. However, I really was digging this place. The decor was very old school from like the 50's. Had pictures of all the big hitters back in the day. It was one floor below the hotel which made it very dark and ominous. The music however was very loud and trance/ house music was the choice. That was a bit off putting but it was Saturday night so I get it a bit, but it's dinner and because the atmosphere is so old school, I figured the music would match. It's like watching The rat pack and seeing Sammy pull out a cell phone.. not cool. Anyways, the food was amazing, we got a little bit of everything and the service was great. Plan to go back in the future.

We went to Michael Mina on a Thursday night. It was a girls night and 3 of us ordered from the Miami spice menu. The device was great, the ambiance is quiet and calm. It was the perfect place for our girls night. I ordered the lamb meatballs, which were excellent, and the skirt steak which came out perfect and also delicious. My sister ordered the steak burger with duck fries, and for desert we ordered the churros. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
(5)Lanha T.
This review is mainly for service than the food. Unfortunately had a little too much to drink beforehand but remember bits and pieces of the dinner. Sat promptly for our 9:00 pm dinner reservations. We ordered a bunch of food. What I do recall was the lobster pot pie. Rich and creamy sauce and flaky crust. There's a rolling cart of seafood that passes by table to table. The stone crab claws were fresh and hit the spot. Our waitstaff were amazing and extremely nice. A little empty at the restaurant but enjoyed the experience from what I recall.

I chose Michael Mina 74 to celebrate my birthday for two reasons... 1. my dad was in town and staying at the Fountainebleau and 2. it's menu seemed to have a wide variety of options that could accommodate my family's interesting palates. It turned out to be an excellent choice! To be honest, I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have better reviews. The service was outstanding and they really paid attention to the small details, a card at the middle of the table to wish me a happy birthday. When the cocktail hour taking place in the restaurant got to rowdy and we asked to be re-seated, they graciously moved us to a quieter table. Our waiter made recommendations and was witty and charming. (I should have written this review sooner because I don't remember his name.) The restaurant's menu is designed for sharing and I would strongly recommend that. My favorites were the delicious sashimi option from their signature card service. I also really enjoyed the dry-aged steak burger and the garlic duck-fat fries. Yes, the fries are fried in duck-fat! So yummy. I may not back it back to Michael Mina 74 save for a special occasion but it's definitely worth it. I may have to find a special occasion to celebrate so I can make it there sooner rather than later.

Fantastic try the chefs tasting. Everything perfectly executed. Seafood cart had excellent oysters poached lobster etc. Love the lamb meatballs, skirt steak, seared scallops were divine!!!

Spent a week at the Fontainebleau - which included multiple visits to 74. The overall vibe and ambiance of this place was awesome (4.5 stars). A dark but adequately lighted, cellar like atmosphere gave this place a cool underground feel. Overall the staff was great, and in our case, the hostess attempted to make our experience even more special by informing us that she would be sitting us at a table across from Emeril Lagasse and his dining party. On at least three other occasions we dined at the bar, where we found the bar staff to be super friendly and interested in our dining experience (informed+no ego). In fact, on one occasion a quick inquiry with a bar dishwasher (we thought he was a bartender) regarding the differences of some of the rums they offer, resulted in him calling over another staff member who gave us a 10 minute deep dive into how rum came to be, and how it evolved over time in terms of regional outcomes and preferences. This guy was engaging and really knew his stuff. As for the food...lots of hits, but a couple misses: AHI & HAMACHI POPPERS (3.5 stars, on the smaller side but overall impressive) JAPANESE WEDGE SALAD (3.5 stars, dressing is the highlight, would order again) ANCIENT" GRAIN SALAD (4.5 stars, super tasty, would definitely order again) HERITAGE TURKEY BURGER (5 stars, may be too spicy for some, but the best turkey burger I've had) DRY-AGED STEAK BURGER (2.5 stars, above average, but the volume of 'merican cheese made this one too rich and hard to finish) KOREAN BBQ SALMON BURGER (2 stars, super-super rich to a fault, wouldn't order again) DUCK FAT FRIES (4.5 stars, what's not to love, crispy and well seasoned) Also an above average beer selection with some excellent IPAs. Potentially the best restaurant in the hotel when considering the overall experience, menu and spend (we tried most venues, but not all) - however if they were to make minor refinements to a couple of these burgers, it would be even that much better.

Sometimes you are surprised by the simplest of dishes.... And so, there I was sharing a table with seven others, sampling through a deliciously prepared menu of chef's favorites. I could describe each one in detail. How they tasted, the texture and complexity of each dish, how it elicited feelings long dormant, etcetera....etc...etc... but the truth of the matter is, I was really, really wowed by, The Hamburger. I know....call me crazy. The appetizers were all very good and had excellent flavors. The Tuna Tartare and Dry-Aged New York Strip Skewers were nice and flavorful; the Kale salad was fresh and light and the Ahi and Hamachi were airy and wonderful. Each was delightful on its own. While everyone at our table was talking and laughing, our servers brought out the selected entrees for the evening. Wagyu Beef Short Ribs, Potato Crusted Pompano, and what I would later come to think as the most amazing Hamburger I've tasted in a long time. The short ribs were fork tender and were complemented with a perfectly made couscous, the pompano in tamarind brown butter was excellent, but the most amazing thing that evening was yet to arrive. Let me just stop right here. You think you've had a good burger up till now. I can probably name a dozen places around town that serve amazing hamburgers; each one a work of art, in and of itself. I would like to add Michael Mina's to the mix. I know, I know....call me blue collar. Here I am surrounded by fine cuisine and I'm focusing on a hamburger. Crazy, I know. Dry aged beef, ground and shaped into a patty, seasoned lightly with salt and pepper then grilled to perfection. The patty is nestled into a bed of romaine while cheddar cheese melts over two slices of double smoked bacon. Add a generous slather of the secret sauce and crown it with a beautiful buttery bun that shines in the candlelight... Served with amazing french fries that enhance the already exquisite flavor. This is the kind of burger you have wine with.... I have to add something here about the dessert. If you can resist finger beignets served aside a Macallan 18 pudding with butterscotch and caramel, you're a better person than I am. Probably a tad bit healthier too. It was delicious and highly encouraged! Located in the Fontainebleau Miami Beach this restaurant is part of the Mina Restaurant Group. You can find out more about Michael Mina, his passion for food (...and burgers) on his website: michaelmina.net/restaura… Now, If you'll excuse me..... I'm going back to find out what else he's got cooking over there. *Before I forget, remember that tip and in cash, please!

The rib-eye was A-MAZING... Good thing I had a $75 a day work stipen for food. Kind of blew it all right there on the steak. This place is what you would expect for a steak house, in a hotel, on the beach. I can't really see going here unless you are the "make it rain" type, or you really want to get laid after your date and you're just trying to impress. Oh yeah, the hostesses, good lord. They're like little devils in miniskirts. Go ask them about a reservation, even if you have no intent in making one. :)

We knew nothing about this restaurant when we ate there the first time, we ordered the Hay Smoked Fillet and it was phenomenal. head chef Thomas Griese came out and he was just fantastic unfortunately the second time we went for dinner when Chef Griese was off and it was not nearly as good
(5)J K.
Attentive but not overbearing service. Was there on the early side so maybe that was why. But super nice staff. Ordered the lobster pot pie and Brussels sprouts, huge portions. Lobster pot pie came with a big demo, you get a giant puff on pot but then waiter lifts to put on your plate the pours the insides on top of it. Perfectly seasoned sauce, great root veggies and huge chunks and perfectly cooked lobster chunks. Brussels sprouts were perfectly crisped, sauce which was really succulent but slight too much of it, gave a nice flavor. Overall amazing meal and you can't go wrong w those items!
(5)Bethany L.
Absolutely the worst service ever. Waiter didn't care, manager didn't care. Absolutely terrible. Will never return. Treat all customers the same doesn't exist here.
(1)Hilary G.
Terrible experience. Not worth it. Should not be part of the world-class Fontainebleau hotel.

I have been to several Michael Mina Restaurants in San Francisco and Las Vegas. I had a spectacular time and my mouth and taste buds were having a party. However, this particular location failed a bit on that area. I will explain, We decided to try this place, we saw it on the Miami Spice website and decided to book a party of 11. My wife called to confirm that they participated on Saturday night, she spoke to the manager and he said yes. She called again to confirm and add one more person to the rez and spoke to the same manager and he said it was all confirmed. Well, we get seated and the server starts to give us the regular menus. We requested a spice menu and she said that they do not honor the spice menu on Saturdays. My wife got up and said I need to speak to the manager. it happens to be the guy she spoken with. He decided to honor it. Ok, so that is now passed us. In my opinion, when you participate in this offer, it is to put your best foot forward to show me your food and I will come back again. But for that you drop the price. Hey it has been very successful for the other 169 participants in the Miami area. The menu looked good. I had the burratta stuffed tomatoes. That was good. Others had the ahi tuna app and it was good too. For entree they had Red Snapper with curry rice, they had country fried chicken with a coleslaw, and the third entree was pork belly. So here is the skinny. The chicken looked like it was from Popeye's but it was not. I had Popeye's chicken and it was better than this. It was a porting that a child could of eaten and still be hungry. Net net, not worth it.

Treated myself the night before the Miami Marathon- one of the best meals of my life. Insanely pricey, but worth the money for a special treat. The steak did not disappoint. Tea and pavlova were worth springing for, even at the extra $$. Great atmosphere, it was a little crowded and we only were able to get bar seating, but I can't blame anyone- it was a Saturday night.

Okay so I went out last night with a group of friends that are major foodies and really appreciate high quality food, drinks and ambiance and was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED! Let's started with our hostess.. What an attitude! We arrived at 9:45pm and our reservations were at 10pm. No smile, no friendly hello.. nothing but a dry attitude as if we (group of 6) were bothering her. We followed her downstairs where we told her we will order a round of cocktails while we wait for our table knowingly that we were early... We began to order drinks and she interrupts us and says our table is ready and when we begin to tell her that we had ordered two drinks- she huffs rolls her eyes and says ok well what do you want the table or stay here? The attitude was completely uncalled for. I understand we all have our rough days but keep that at home, this is an upscale restaurant and service is key! Waitress was fine but as she was telling us about the menu the other staff was relocating tables and chairs next to us and instead of picking them up they were dragging them which made such a LOUD screech!! Not once, not twice but over 4 times! Our waitress apologized and I even said you know they can lift the tables instead of dragging them across the floor. It was outrageous and I mean it was LOUD like this noise was out of control. Food was delicious which is the best part of this review BUT it took over an hour to get our main meal. We did not start eating until 11:50pm. It was so bad that 4 of the 6 of us left to go fetch our vehicle. We wanted dessert but just could not bare to wait anymore. The Food was great as I mentioned but not worth the wait and hassle. We ordered 4 bottles of wine per the recommendation of the sommelier which was great. From MM's signature cart service: 2 Lobster Tails and Tuna Dish - This was AMAZING and FRESH Small Plates: 2 Tuna Tartar 2 AHI & HAMACHI Poppers 1 Norwegian King Crab Tempura Large Plates: Lobster Pot Pie Lobster Cavatelli Dry Aged Steak Burger Crispy Brussels Sprouts Garlic Duck Fat Fries Whipped Potatoes Again the food was delicious but I definitely have had better and at the end of the day, the service goes along way and it was awful here.

We stayed at the Fountain Bleu and ate here for dinner on Thursday night. The atmosphere is really neat, low ceilings and dark lighting make it really romantic. We asked the concierge where we could grab a quick bite, definitely not quick but it was nice to try some place new. All 3 of us ordered burgers ($26 each), they were delicious and huge. I took half of mine home with me. They have little carts going around with food that you can grab, sort of dim sum style which is fantastic. We had these crispy wontons filled with raw tuna and spicy sauce, probably one of the best things I have ever eaten. We all joked we could have eaten 30 of them ($22 for 3 wontons). Overall it was a delicious meal and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
(4)Alli B.
Delicious food with unique flavors. There is a dish for everyone with such a diverse influence. The vibe is fun with a sexy lounge feel.
(5)Jay D.
You'll be greeted by professional, cordial, yet totally smoking hostesses in amazing red dresses. They will take you down a set of stairs to the restaurant where you'll be seated in likely a super comfortable leather booth. The bar menu is amazing, creative cocktails, but not the standard stuff. Here they'll serve you a drink in your own bootlegger flask or out of a whiskey barrel. Our server was so kind, as was all the staff. This place is great because the menu is really diverse AND it's all small plates, amazing for sharing. I really enjoy this style because you can taste a lot of different dishes. The dessert was also riveting, we had Rocky Road profiteroles and beignets with Macallan 15 scotch butterscotch dipping sauce. The whole experience was super!
(4)Jimmy M.
Fantastic service. Got the dry aged burger and fries with the Pimms Cup. The Pimms cup was great and fun looking. Fantastic. The burger was perfectly cooked and the bacon was thick. Smoked Gouda and some kind of cheese sauce topped it. It was messy but outstanding. Definitely skip the other restaurants in room service and come here.

every time i step into the fontainebleau i am transformed into someone classy elegant and worldly, (shit who am i kidding? that's me daily) ...MM74 is tucked in the lower level of hotel, its dark, its romantic, its sexy. the service was on point from the second we walked in. friendly, attentive, explained everything in detail, ridiculously nice. the cart service is a lil odd for me but nevertheless ok, brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, burger, skirt steak for the meal to be shared with the sister. everything was delicious, except for the skirt steak,a bit lukewarm and the sauce a bit too sweet for my tasting. the burger was dripping in cheesy sexiness.juicy and cut into fours to share, the mac n cheese legit , brussels always come to haunt me later on the evening but they are always worth it , esp these. the cocktail i had (goldfinger, named after the bond movie shot here,) the somm came by to explain all the drinks and old grape juice. top notch service. above average food , will come by and try something else off the appetizing menu
(3)Sandy T.
Came here for a yelp event. Thought the ambiance was nice very elegant for the event. People were nice. For me I find it hard to make new friends and chat with people. I am socially awkward. Our set menu was very generous. And the service was superb. From the appetizers my favorite was the wagu beef skewers. It was cooked to perfection and very tender. I also liked their tuna tartar. I definately had better but it was very fresh and super light in flavor. Entree I'd have to say the potato crusted pampano was SOOOOOOO good. By the time I got to eating the Aged beef burger (which sounded really yummy and fancy) I was so full I didnt enjoy the burger. I thought it was okay and the fries were very good. The sides of broccoli and the brussel sprouts were very good. The sprouts were smokey in flavor and not bitter at all. Had a nice glaze to them which made it oh so slightly sweet. Dessert was okay. Beignets were ok that pudding caramel sauce is what makes it good.

We decided to dine at Michael Mina 74 for one of our first romantic night out since having our new baby. This is the perfect romantic dinner, the ambiance is very trendy with a minimalist hipster twist. My husband and I told our server Fabiano what our typical fare first choices would be and he took it from there. With his guidance we settled on the Maine Lobster Pot Pie and Roasted Bone Marrow, both were made to perfection. Fabiano had the bar prepare a Noletts Gin with basil drink for me that was perfection. My husband has decided our next date night will be at this restaurant, he's been studying the menu for our next visit options.. Thanks Fabiano for the impeccable customer service.
(5)Nina H.
Overpriced and the food is just okay. Lobster pie has no lobster and tuna tartar is too spicy for my personal taste. Def my least favorite of the Hotel's restaurants
(2)Dyana B.
This is an evening to remember I had their short ribs over a cous cous purée that was delicious. Also they come around to each table with specially handcrafted off menu chef special tasters that you can select . Very nice !! The handcrafted drinks are very special. I had the" magic city " drink . My guy had the mojito. We both thought that the mojito should have real coconut milk. This is after all, MIAMI We were invited by the chef to come back to the kitchen !! We had the opportunity to thank him and it was clean, organized and very detailed.. You guys made our evening special. We have returned again too.

I think I found my new favorite restaurant in Miami!! Went to this place as part of a dinner and show real this Saturday before seeing Capital Cities. Extra Large group they accommodated very well.service was spot on and the prefix menu was so good we had to go back Sunday night to get the full experience!!! Did not disappoint!!! A much smaller party this time and service was even more amazing!! We ordered off the a la cart appetizer cart as well as the seafood cart and a variety of dishes from the menu that were all on point!!! Can't wait to go again and try to flush tasting the entire menu lol!!! Oh yeah, almost forgot... The most amazing dirty martini with hand stuffed blue cheese mmmmmm
(5)Robin S.
My husband and I went to Michael Mina for my birthday dinner. We had a wonderful experience! First, the food was great. I am a big fan of Mina's cooking and this did not disappoint. I would highly recommend ordering less food than typical so you can experience the cart service. I thought it was a cute idea and did make the dinner more interesting. Second, I thought service was above average, particularly for South Beach. One of our dishes was caught in the kitchen for a while and to apologize the server sent out a complimentary dish of foie gras creme brûlée. I am a huge sucker for free food. Finally, the reason I did not give the restaurant 5 stars was the atmosphere and decor. I think they were going for a clubby vibe, but it just felt like sitting in the basement. It did not match the high quality of food and service.
(4)Andrew W.
Food was great. Had a selection from the Miami Spice menu. My review, however will focus on the dress code that now seems to be in place at Miami Beach restaurants these days. I spent $145 with drinks, to be seated next to a family in swim shorts and tank tops. This was my second disappointment, after last years trip to The Forge, where the same thing happened. The Forge, once one of Miami"s most elegant restaurants and I'm sitting next to shorts and a t shirt. Same at this place. For $145 I'll go to Denny's. I felt like a fool dressed up, and from the pictures of the restaurant, you get the idea this is a dress up event. Once was the time when The hotel was know for the ladies in gowns. Now yes, I understand time has changed that, but is there anywhere in Miami Brach to dress for the evening? I will now be staying in Coral Gables for my dinners when I want to dress. The hotel has lost it's glamour, sold out to a low brow crowd. 3 stars for atmosphere, 5 stars for the food. So go ahead, get your checkbook out and put on your best Walmart wife beater and come on down to 74.
(3)Joe A.
Though snacking on the limited menu at the Yelp Elite event, Michael Mina 74, should your wallet allow it, is well worth the culinary investment. Wagyu Beef, kale salad, potato crusted pompano -- all money. Get the Brussels sprouts for a side and definitely, without a doubt, no hesitation required, get the beignets with whiskey pudding topped with butterscotch and caramel. A cool vibe with great service adds to the value -- can't really go wrong chillin' at Fontainebleau, can you?
(5)Craig F.
The food was good the service was terrible. We had the chef's whim which is there tasting with the wine pairing. The food came out in a disjointed manner with really long pauses between courses. The wines were never explained and with the way the food came out you never knew what went with what. It was very much an overpriced, not worth the money experience. Not a place I would recommend or go back to.
(2)Leonardo V.
We were here on january 1st, and i will say that if instead of michael mina, this place was own by somebody else it wont last more than a few months, food was ok, but i was expecting somwthing amaizing, service was poor between the first to dishes ans the last two they took forever, in fact so long that i wanted to cancel the last dish since i was no longer hungry. So for the money, you can eat much better than here.
(2)Frank I.
Great dinner. We ordered the short ribs, fried chicken, and lobster pie. Everything was prepared well. Service impeccable. Great atmosphere. Will be there again.

During my trip to Miami, my family and I had dinner at Michael Mina 74. Staff was very friendly all night and the food was delicious. My mom had lamb chops and she loved them!!! My brother had the steak and scraped the plate afterwards. I had the Lobster Pot Pie and didn't waste a drop!!! For dessert, we had Key Lime Pie and that was great as well! I also had two drinks called "All In The Clouds" :-) No complaints at all about Michael Mina's!!!! We'd definitely go again!!!

I was here last night for an Yelp Event where we sampled many of the dishes. Firstly, let me tell anyone reading this, everything I sampled was absolutely delicious. There wasn't one dish I could say, "WAH, I had better." Not a one dish. So, I'm going to do something different with this review. I'm going to write it with tourists from out of town visiting Miami Beach in mind. 1. You are going to hear about restaurants in South Beach being tourist traps with less than stellar food at very high prices with a touch of attitude by the servers. This is not a lie and it is very common in Miami Beach. If you're looking for homemade goodness, I'd make it a point to eat here. This is not your typical "tip is already included so I'm going to treat you like crap because I can get away with it" restaurant known to South Beach. Contrary to popular belief, these restaurants do exist in Miami Beach. You just have to know where they are. Trust me, I'm a native to South Florida. 2. This restaurant is large group friendly. 4. These were my stand-out dishes: * Ketchup - Simple, right? You haven't had ketchup until you've had ketchup here. I have to try to replicate this at home. This was my first time having homemade ketchup. Sorry Heinz, but goodbye. * Dry-Aged Steak Burger - I have never had a burger that tasted this wonderful inside my mouth. You will never go to McDonald's ever again after trying this. * Wagyu Beef Short Rib - The beef literally disintegrated inside your mouth with little effort. Everything Moroccan in this dish, from the Couscous to the Carrots was DELICIOUS! * Potato Crusted Pompano - I don't like seafood and I devoured this. I have no words to describe this. It was absolutely delicious in every bite. 5. Everything here is homemade in their kitchen. I just had to be sure, even though you can tell just by looking at the food, so, I asked several times. As I quote one of the servers when I went on one of my Cigarette Smoking Expeditions, "Yes sir, everything is homemade here. Well, not the silverware." RIGHT ON MISTER WAITER SIR! I will make it a point to come back to this restaurant. See? Smoking isn't bad for you. 6. If you're not staying at Fontainebleau and would like to dine here, valet. Just be patient. Valet at this hotel isn't the fastest I have seen. 7. This is a very busy hotel with many different venues simultaneously taking place. Most are frequented by locals to South Florida. Be patient and allot yourself extra time if you have a reservation. All in all, I will make it a point to come back here to dine. It is a very nice restaurant.

First class experience in Miami! We entertained a client for dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal. The lobster corn dogs are a must to start with along with a shellfish platter of crab legs and shrimp. I thoroughly enjoyed the potato crusted pompano for my entree...I could eat that every week. The service was excellent and the decor had a welcoming and laid back vibe. This is a must try when visiting the Fontainebleau!

Here in Miami Beach for a convention and this is without a doubt my favorite restaurant so far.Located beneath the main lobby of the Fountainebleau, it was slightly quieter and somewhat less frenetic than other parts of the hotel. Started with a giant stone crab claw which was delicious! You could just about taste the sea - in a good way! Meaty and well cracked. Yum! Shared some appetizers and loved the endive and walnut salad (updated healthier version of a Waldorf salad) but didn't love the steak skewer. It was fine but nothing extraordinary. Main course was the snapper in a curry sauce and it was terrific! Light, flavorful curry and a perfectly cooked piece of fish over a potato cake and pineapple. Really delightful dish! But the desserts? Awesome!!! Had the "milk and cookies" which were tempura fried cookie dough balls with a vanilla malt flavored milk and it was almost (!) too much of a good thing! Wait staff was good and lovely ambience.

A casual, a la carte Michael Mina restaurant. Very friendly staff, beautiful design all over. Duck spring rolls to start with, and the red snapper for supper. This place is going to dominate Miami food scene in no time. Highly recommended!!!

Great food! The bone morrow was excellent. The garlic duck fat fries...wow! Lobster pot pie ..wow! Overall a great meal with exceptional service. We had a party of 4 and we were able to share 10 dishes....

I was supposed to meet some people for dinner at Michael Mina 74 last Thursday night. My flight to Miami was late and by the time I got to the hotel, checked in, and got to MM74 it was 9:30 and the friends had already started. MM74 has an elegant young woman at a reception stand at the top of the steps leading down to the restaurant, and then another guy downstairs who seems to be in charge. The elegant young woman was tall, skinny, beautiful and no help. I told her the name the reservation was under. She was incapable of looking at the computer screen and telling me which table . "Shek wi de man downstair" she says in a sexy, unidentifiable accent. Descending to the restaurant was like entering one of Dante's circles of hell. Loud businessmen and women were drinking, eating and apparently shouting to be heard. The guy in charge downstairs couldn't give a flying you know what if I found the correct group of loud business people. After looking for a while I realized I did not want to eat alone at the bar in this place and left. The next day my guy said "Oh, yeah. Those people were super unhelpful both times I ate there." I just Wiki'ed Mr. Mina. He seems like great guy and a great businessman. But with 16 restaurants from Seattle to Miami, it's pretty clear that he's selling a concept -- the Mina brand -- and couldn't possibly spend time in the restaurants ensuring that they run they way he wants them to. Except for adding to his net income. I suggest a name change from Michael Mina 74 to Michael Mina 86. At least I'm eighty-sixing MM74 from the list of restaurants I want to try a second time.

First of all I'm a big Mina fan. I think I've been to around 5 of his places in Miami, Vegas, and of course San Francisco. I enjoy most of them, but this one fell short of expectations. I understand this spot is on the new side of things, but they should have worked out any issues by now since it's been open for a few months. I went with my wife to grab some dinner before heading out of town for a week. The service started out very good, but by the end I was waiting for 20 minutes to get my credit card swiped and was completely annoyed... Granted they had gotten a lot busier. The wine list is extensive, but a little strange. They seem to have a lot of Champagne, but very little non-bubbly Rose. The sommelier found a special bottle for us, he was a very cool guy. We ordered a few things, here is the breakdown: Kamachi Poppers : 4 stars - Best thing we ate there Chanterelle & Truffle Tart : 3 stars Steak Burger : 2 stars (it was decent, but way too heavy on the bacon and the aoli was very thick. The grind was decent, but nowhere near a top burger in Miami) I can't comment on what my wife ordered, I think maybe a salad. I didn't have any of it. Not a bad place, but for the money, meh.

Gorgeous Restaurant.... Impeccable Service......Amazing Food..... What more could you ask for during a dining experience? The General Manager, Anthony Kay, immediately introduced himself to our group and made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant. The chef, Thomas Griese, personally brought many courses to the table! Most "girls nights" don't include over indulging at dinner but with food like this, how can you not? We devoured the following: Appetizers- King Crab Poppers, Ahi & Hamachi Poppers, and a selection from the Seafood Cart. Entrees- White Miso Sea Bass,Diver Scallops, Hay-Smoked Filet Mignon, Dessert- Devil's Food Cake, Banana Fosters Bread Pudding, and Beignets. Between the hand crafted cocktails, delicious courses, and ambiance, this restaurant is one to be reckoned with! Thanks again to Anthony Kay for an unforgettable experience!

This place is pretty nice because it's a dim lighted ambiance with a large center bar and booths surrounding the perimeter. The plates for sharing but the portions are very small. We had the Mac & Cheese, the buttermilk fried chicken & the short rib. I only enjoyed the Mac & Cheese. The chicken was too spicy & the short rib had a strange taste, although the consistency was just right. Our waiter was very rude and sarcastic & pushed us to order more. Had we done so, it would have gone to waste because we couldn't even finish what we had ordered in the first place. The group sitting at the booth behind ours was extremely loud (irritably loud) and management did nothing about it. Our table couldn't carry on a decent conversation because of this. That ruined our experience.

This was just so so. The service was ok, the food ok, the decor reminded me of a nice Outback. I didn't like the family style concept. Not for me.

I liked Michael Mina 74. The same problem exists in this Miami restaurant as we had at Casa Tua - which is not the case at the Michael Mina flagship in San Francisco, which I think other people mention below. The food is much more expensive and the portions are much smaller. The server gave us an extremely wrong idea about how the restaurant worked. He came over and told us, all dishes are for sharing. This is so wrong. The dishes are not for sharing. The small and large plate are enough for 3/4 of a person. I am a very small person (5'0 feet, 105 lbs) and after sharing a small plate, 2 large plates, a side dish and 2 of their "dim sum" cart options (approximately $300 later) I was still hungry. I find this to be a huge problem. A bread basket might have helped the situation? The food was good. I really enjoyed the brussel sprouts, the octopus uni risotto was amazing and the lobster cavatelli was great. The miso cod was eh, same with the dim sum cart options - I would highly recommend staying away from their cart options. They're about $25 a pop and not very good. I liked the low key atmosphere at the super posh Fountainebleau and I enjoyed dinner but wouldn't go back.

Great experience. A little loud, but I did go on a saturday. The server assured me on weekdays its a much more intimate ambiance. I forget what wines I was recommended, but they were amazing. Really knowledgeable staff. Ordered stone crab, delicious. king crab tempura, unique and amazing. Lamb meatballs, they were alright, but lamb isn't really my favorite anyways. Got the tenderloin for my entree. The sauce it came with wasnt my favorite, but did compliment the dish. The tenderloin is very thick, so ask the server more about your temperature choice if you're picky. Key lime pie was fresh, and GIANT. I will definitely be going here more often, both for drinks and dinner.
(4)Berta C.
As others have stated, the restaurant has a great vibe. The service was attentive and friendly, which is challenging to find at times on the Beach. Highly recommend grabbing drinks at the bar. I was very disappointed in the food. Great choice of items on the menu. Unfortunately, the taste left much to be desired. It wasn't horrible, just average. We ordered the peanut butter burger (this had potential to be over the top amazing and was a complete let down), Brussel sprouts (just ok), lobster cavatelli (good). The desserts were the biggest disappointment of the night. We ordered the tempura cookie dough and the beignets. In my opinion, don't order the beignets. Not good. Will not be coming here again. Although there were some positives, definitely not enough to justify the $12 parking fee. From reading the other reviews, I know plenty of people enjoyed their dining experience here. Unfortunately I was not one of them. Remember to validate parking in the restaurant, otherwise it is $25.

Really, only 2 people and you can't get our entrees to come out at the same time? That's restaurant 101. And some mussels were served unopened? Where is the quality control? Obviously Michael Mina doesn't have the same standards as Gordon Ramsay. No wonder this hotel has to offer a discount to get people in here. Way better choices in south beach, stay away.
(2)Laurie S.
Absolutely delicious food and a unique concept. We entered the Fountainebleu's amazing lobby and were escorted downstairs to Michael Mina where we were immediately greeted by our very attentive server. Then the first food "cart" came by where we had an option of 5 small sharing plates. We got the cod fritters. Very good. About 10 minutes later another cart came by and we ordered the King crab summer rolls. Again, very tasty. Finally we ordered off the menu steak skewers and baked macaroni and cheese. Both were superb. The very best part? Dessert. Marscapone Cherry Cheesecake... A stunning dish. This place is expensive, but what do you expect for Miami beach? Definitely good and we would return.

Size of Party: 3 People on a Sunday night Reservation: 8:00 pm and we were seated promptly in a booth facing a window as I had requested. Atmosphere: The restaurant has very dim lighting similar to Michael Mina's other restaurant, Bourbon Steak. The restaurant still has some left over decorations of the club that used to take residence there, such as ceiling mounted remote controlled lighting. The booth also had the feel of a VIP table at a club, which also might be left over. The background music was not too loud and was very diverse. The three of us were still able to have a conversation without speaking too loudly. Service: We were attended by our waitress within 5 minutes of sitting down. She brought us three menus and a drink list. We went during Miami Spice and were not offered the special menu. It is one of those restaurants where you have to make sure to ask for it. The waitress had the right balance of attention and distance that I expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The only thing I found a bit annoying was the new cart service that Michael Mina is touting at this restaurant. We were interrupted three separate times during our dinner to be offered pre-cooked items from a cart. I guess everyone is looking to differentiate their restaurant in this competitive market, however I did not enjoy it. Drinks: The cocktails at this restaurant are very creative as I have come to expect from Michael Mina. My friend and I were very interested in the cocktails they have "on tap." I ordered the Pimm's Cup 74, a creative take on the British classic, and my friend ordered the Mojito Guarapo, a mojito made with pure sugarcane. Both were very good and I would definitely order them again. Food: All three of us ordered from the Miami Spice Menu. For appetizer we each ordered a unique item. The Japanese Wedge Salad, Lamb Meatballs, and Ahi/Hamachi Poppers were all excellent (see photos). I would say the poppers were my favorite. For the entrees we ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and the Berkshire Pork Belly. The pork belly portion size was much smaller than the fried chicken and also had less flavor. The only flavor really coming through for me with the pork belly was the fruit paste. The fried chicken, however was the star of the show. It had great flavor and spice and paired perfectly with the cole slaw. The cole slaw was not as sweet as some would like but it went well with the chicken. Finally, for dessert we ordered one of each from the menu. Both desserts were good but the cheesecake had an edge. Conclusions: Overall, the restaurant was slightly above average for its class. I still prefer Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak over his sophomore attempt at a restaurant in Miami but I would still return strictly as a Miami Spice outing. This place is definitely worth a visit.

Came here for NYE dinner, which I was excited about since MM74 didn't have an egregiously priced fixed price menu. Instead, they offered a smaller menu a la carte. I ordered the white truffle mushroom rissotto, which was out of this world amazing. Everyone at the table agreed it was a good, although not the healthiest, choice. As far as the service goes, it was somewhat spotty. It took forever to place our orders, drinks, etc. In hindsight, it worked out well since we were there for New Years, and the restaurant poured us a glass of champagne for a midnight toast. Update: upon rereading my review, I can't believe I forgot to mention how amazing the draft cocktails are! Delicious, strong, and worth the price... Try them!

3 1/2 stars I need to preface this review by saying that I frequent Bourbon Steak Miami (a Mina restaurant), have dined at Michael Mina's in San Francisco and have also been to the former Arkadia. The attention to detail in those two restaurants I mentioned is astounding. The show begins the second you walk in through the door until you walk out. Every little thing has been thought of. You can't help but leave enamored with what the name Mina signifies. MM74 is NOT like that at all. AMBIANCE & DECOR: Decor is understated: a mish mash of plain furniture and no real reason for their layout. I can attest to this with the amount of times waiters bumped into our (diagonally placed) table. The open cylinders in the middle of the room with wine glasses sitting around them cannot possibly count as restaurant decor. C'mon! If they were there before, then Arkadia concealed them much better. I never noticed them. The booths are just a plain brown leather and there's not a single tablecloth to be found. Perhaps I am being hard on them (being as they just opened a couple of weeks ago). However, there is no way this is up to par with Hakkasan, Gotham, Scarpetta (also on hotel grounds) and (even less) any other Mina restaurant. I expect much more from a Mina establishment. I know this concept is different. They are supposed to be more of a lounge, with dimmed lighting, loud music and open as late as LIV. That was not my experience. It wasn't dim enough to have a "club" feel and the music was barely audible. I even wondered if I was listening to LIV's music (from far away) or if it was 74's. I was there until about 10:30pm. Some people were dressed up and others, as the tourists they are, in shorts and polos. Perhaps the scene changes at midnight? Overall, the decor seems to be an afterthought. FOOD: There was a lot on the menu that intrigued me and I didn't get to order. This is what we sampled. Hamachi Poppers- loved these. They were tater tots with a hamachi spread on top and excellent. Prawns and Oysters: The hotel's private boat (the BLEAUfish) brings back fresh seafood for the restaurant's consumption. They then put those items on display, over ice, in a rolling cart they brought by every table. We choose our seafood and they plated them for us right there and then. Our choices were served with shrimp chips and a quad of sauces (can't remember all of their names) that tasted great. Needless to say, the seafood was extremely fresh. Lobster Corn Dogs- Fun to eat. Did not really care for the corn part of the dog but the lobster inside was substantial and tasty with great texture. Beer Battered Fish Tacos- Good. The order comes with two tacos. Octopus A La Plancha- This looked better than it tasted. It was just OK. A little bland and the texture was a little gummy. Truffle Donuts & Parmesan- Fried "somethings" with truffle and parm. Anything is edible if you fry it and top it with truffle and parm right? Black Cod with White Miso- a $42 disappointment. After coincidentally having a delightful, absolutely perfect, miso black sea bass the night before at Bourbon Steak, this one let me down. It was cooked beautifully and flaky. What it lacked was flavor. I don't know how that could be! I'm still confused about this one. Pavlova- Not my kind of dessert but executed well. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake- Dangerously delicious. This was pretty darn good. SERVICE was mediocre, at best. Outside, the hostesses were charming. Once inside and seated, it took a good 10 minutes to get properly greeted and receive menus. Bread came after the first appetizer and it took another 20 minutes to get the check at the end of the night. We could not find our waitress and had to keep asking anyone who walked by for her. She was very sweet throughout the night but not necessarily knowledgeable or there a whole lot. This is where I think the restaurant's newness showed. This should improve with time. When we did get the bill, it was topped with two Hershey's Kisses. You have got to be kidding me. Lounge restaurant or not, that's the best you can do? A Walgreens bought Hershey's Kiss? I'm spending all this money and that's what I get? Not a pastry chef made small chocolate or mint? Might as well skip giving anything out if you can't do it right. That's what you want my last impression to be? Speechless. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Corkage fee is $35. It seems that the bar took most of their attention when planning this restaurant. They have some seemingly fun, interesting drinks "on tap" as well as some wines. This is the only part of the restaurant that has any kind of character. I will give it another shot later on this coming year ONLY because it's a Mina restaurant and at the Fontainebleau: two establishments that I respect and have loved for a while. P.S. I did not get charged $7 for water as someone stated in another review.

The burger at 74 is the best burger I have ever had in my life! The bun! The sauce! The cheese! The meat! It's all heavenly Rogellio the manager made sure our experience was top notch the entire dinner. The wait staff was 100% perfect! They refilled water and got us new cocktails as soon as we needed them. I can't wait to come back. The restaurant is dark and the perfect place for a romantic dinner for 2.
(5)Melba B.
Meh... I was not impressed. Food was not what I expected... Didn't like the carts that came by every few minutes... They would come by and interrupt our conversation with a cart that contained pre cooked food. Not impressed. The food looked old and I can't imagine anyone actually ordering anything from it... The ambiance was nice... Made me a bit sleepy actually. Very dim lighting... Nice music playing in the background... Been there, done that... Won't go back again... I have had a lot better food, with better portions for a better price...
(2)Michael T.
Just left 74... The hostesses were very pleasant... Welcomed us with a smile... Took us to a great table. Our sever "older gentleman" was miserable... We saw him 3 different times yell at a server and a food runner. Very unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. My wife and I got "The chefs Whim," which is a chefs tasting menu. My standards of a restaurant being in the Fontainebleau are very high as it should be, but failed to deliver. The food was mediocre at best. Had to send back skirt steak and sea bass due to cold center. No apologies. Lots more restaurants in Miami. Won't be going back.
(1)David C.
Well.. Service is good! Food is not even tasty. I had few different items as appetizers, it was ok. But when you pay that amount of money, you expect it to be really good! Had the skirt steak which was great. Everything else doesn't worth it. Way over priced! Wouldn't recommend! Would not got back!
(2)Cole S.
Expected so much more. The restaurant itself was dimly lit, warm, and inviting. Food was just ok. We ordered the chefs whim, the tasting menu. It sounded like a great idea, but was poorly executed. Although our server was pleasant to us, he was also yelling at other servers, bussers, and runners on the floor and I couldn't help but feel bad and just uncomfortable. Food was plated nicely but delivered a bit slow. Appetizers were ok ( lamb meatballs, endive salad, bread and banana cheese sauce ). Hamachi was delicious. The sea bass and skirt steak came out cold sadly, probably because they were waiting on the Mac and cheese (which was piping hot). They nuked the fish and steak in the microwave for us and delivered it back out in 4 minutes. Boooo.... Dessert was rocky road ice cream which was very tasty, as well as donuts with a scotch caramel sauce ( not my favorite). With all the options for dining in Miami, I don't think I'll be back.
(2)Nicole N.
Great service. Excellent and accommodating staff. The food is on point. Bulent was the server and very hospitable. Got the happy hour discount even though we sat at the table. The fizzy ginger drink with kettle one is amazing and the frozen orchids inside are frozen. Great ambiance and will definitely be coming back!
(5)Yaki S.
An amazing culinary experience, great customer service and refined ambience. I believe this is now best restaurant in miami.
(5)Primo L.
Of all the offerings available at Fontainbleau, this has to be the weakest. The decor is a mashup of dull brown furniture that appear repurposed from a camp dining room, and are very discordant with the chic sublime whiteness that has come to exemplify Miami Beach in general. Very low and dirty ceilings cast a pall on the tables and the music was dull and funereal. It was so dark that the seafood cart server needed to use a flashlight to display the food he was offering, which left everyone confused. Nothing of note to look at on the walls and we were seated near what looked like a couple of large dusty tube speakers from the 1950s. Service was mediocre - we received none of the sides we ordered, and our waiters came and went, changing mid meal which led to no one knowing whom to ask for anything. Eventually a manager -looking fellow came by to pitch in, and that stepped up the game, but given the pricing and the potential, this was just weird. Aside from missing all the sides, a couple of appetizers were forgotten, as was a 'donut' (?) that the waiter said was a special of the evening. Wine glasses remained empty for extended periods. One of the most surprising aspects of the meal was that management doesn't enforce any dress code, so tourists in tank tops and flip flops abound. This actually makes sense given the rest of the decor, but certainly not expected given the price point and location. The food itself was okay, though uninspired and nothing you won't see at every other restaurant in this price range. Nothing adventurous or striking, and portion sizes are middling. I'll be altogether surprised if this restaurant has a long run.
(2)Mark M.
Cool place, but worst bar tenders in Miami, obnoxious and not helpful. Hipsters should not be bar tenders.
(1)Laura G.
I am honored and thrilled to be the first to review. I had no idea it was opening night, just happened to be in Miami and saw Michael Mina 74 and being a fan had to go. I'm a big fan of Mina, he never disappoints and always has great vegetarian options (for the hubby). Inside the historical Fountainbleau Hotel. Beautiful interior, impeccable service and amazing food. They have their own boat that goes out and gets the fresh fish of the day - we started with the Stone Crab ( very fresh and delicious). The lobster corn dogs were fun and a great starter - something you can share there are 3 in an order. The Cornish hen with couscous was amazing. Big dish with a lemony moroccan flavor. Really great. Dessert - wow, the coconut merengue was my favorite, the Beignets with an 18 year old McMinnons whiskey Carmel sauce was unique and absolutely yummy. Then the rocky road Profiterole was decadent. I've never had a less than stellar dish at any Michael Mina restaurant.
(5)Rachel K.
My friends and I started and ended our South Beach vacation @ Michael Mina. The service was as good as can be. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and quick- more impressively great mixologists who we learned created some of the "drinks on tap." Hold on, did I say drinks on tap??? YES I did, and they're amazing. The Pimms cup will literally be something I will have dreams about until I am once again in South Beach, which will be who knows when. The food was good, but the drinks and service were outstanding. I will have to check out the Las Vegas location on my upcoming trip out west. MM Miami, you will definitely be on my must-see list if I return to South Beach.
(5)Kent M.
Great meal in a clubby warm atmosphere. Enjoyed the crab tempura, Tokyo style ribs, endive salad with honey mustard vinaigrette, tuna tartare with pine nuts and tomato purée. Also got to sample the heirloom tomatoes stuffed with ricotta and basil pesto, dressed with basalmic vinegar and the chilled roasted cauliflower and honey mustard vinaigrette. Big plate was the 72 hour Moroccan short rib which melted in your mouth. Topped it all off with key lime pie. An excellent evening well served by Fabiano, our server from Brazil by way of Boston. Sage wine advice from sommelier Eli.
(4)Jay B.
Great experience! First, you should know that this place is not the SoBe fluff scene, much more NYC or late night Vancouver scene. Feels like a in-the-know space, although it is at the famed and well-known Fontainebleau. Loved the Cod -melts in your mouth! And the Poppers are a MUST. And don't even bother going if you miss the Hamachi and Ahi Poppers...I could have had a plate full of them and still wanted more. Drinks are a hit, all freshly made and seasonal, full of fresh ingredients that really pop. Next time I visit I will definitely arrive later to jam with the DJ and watch the place transform from a rustic and masculine restaurant to an underground ultra lounge. All in all, I definitely enjoyed the 'non-scene' vibe the place had, will definitely return as long as Chef Griese is still serving out top-notch dishes worthy of it's address and name.

Dear Manager, I am writing to detail my groups dining experience at your restaurant for New Years Eve. First off, let me say that I used to live in Miami for for years and have frequented the Fontainbleau, it is usually an amazing time and the service is impeccable. However, this time around at your restaurant it was DISMAL. This comes as a surprise to me because my girlfriend could not stop raving about your restaurant in Vegas and the other parties in your group loved 74 and have dined there before. I would like to provide you some specific examples of how our service was awful. A. I book the reservation in the beginning of December - called to check if it was a la carte or pre fixe, confirmed it was a la carte. On the 20th,I get a call changing it to pre fixe due to "kitchen confusion and mix ups". At this point, we have no other options but to dine with you. B. Arrived right on time, taken down to our table and the restaurant is empty...so I don't really understand this whole if you are 15 minutes late your entire party will be charged. Anyways, we sit down and it takes about 15 mins for anyone to come over to us for water. While we are waiting, we see a group of 5 people at the bar directly in front of our table in beach gear getting rowdy. Now, don't think I have stick up my ass for making this comment and I get its Miami, but when you let patrons sit at the bar rolling on ecstasy while my group and the other 2-3 tables are paying 190 bucks a pop (including service charges) is not okay. You need to enforce a dress code once dinner parties arrive. This is unacceptable. C. So finally, we get our water and order drinks and you send around caviar carts, champagne carts, shellfish carts - we indulge in the shellfish. However, we order it and it takes a solid 45 minutes to get the shrimp. I mean, its cold shrimp, you just bring it. Not that hard considering the restaurant is pretty empty at 8pm. Oh yeah, we get our drinks sort of around the same time. D. We order, the food comes (little longer than expected but no big deal, we had a larger party) and we start eating. It was awful, the food was luke warm at best. Good news is we still have all the beach bums rolling their faces off to watch! That is exactly what I love to see while eating mediocre food for 190 bucks. Finally, we finish the food and pay the bill and leave. Couldn't wait to get out of the restaurant honestly and will never be coming back.
(1)Sarah K.
Great customer service and food! As soon as we went up to the hostess, our group felt welcomed. Everyone greeted us and made sure our table always had service. The food was amazing. I do wish some of the small plates were main plates as I wanted more. Definitely recommend the fish tacos and lamb meatballs. The staff also gave us a chocolate cake in honor of our celebration, which the slice was huge. There were 7 people in our group and it was enough to feed everyone.
(5)Sandra A.
As a hotel guest , I find it very upsetting that I go to this restaurant after attending a private event in the hotel and the manager decides to close early and suggests we use room service. Totally unacceptable. I have never eaten at this particular restaurant inside of the Fountainbleau and I will never.
(1)Brian D.
Upon arrival, a hostess guides you down the entrance stair well, grand and promising. At the bottom is a dark pub like dining area. The room which receives little light and decked with dark wood and leather is a startling transition from the bright neon Miami hotel bar above. Yet the music piped through the space is still the thumping electronica from the lobby. Seating is stately; a spacious and intimate booth for two. The waiter, Fabiano, is not. Ask for menu suggestions and he'll retort "everything is good" before performing his dissapearing act. With only the menu and the help of a smartphone to make a decision, the waiter breezes back into site 10 minutes later to take the order only to perform his one and only trick again. What was once an intimate experience quickly turns to one of isolation and neglect. Food, meant to be shared here, begins to come out. First is the hamachi poppers, quickly dropped onto the table by a new gentleman. This "small share" hits the sensory marks with its textures: a crunchy base topped with soft hamachi. The flavors too contrasts but works very well: the lightly greased poopers, the cool hamachi, and a touch of spiciness. After the four bite sizes pieces are consumed, reality sets back in with the realization that Fabiano has spent the last half hour exclusively planted at the side of a big wig's table. He would spend the remainder of the night chained there with a brownnosing grin. The next appetizer to come is the five spice short ribs. Immediately as the dish hit the table a waft of the five spice begins to ruminate. This Asian interruptation from Mina, tender, fall off the bone, and generously marinated is a winner. The "large shares" or entrées are delivered in tandem. One, a rich pot pie of lobster and truffle and the other, a Korean interuptation of a burger done with kimchi and salmon. Both have merits and make for strong plates, though the burger was too wet on the bottom, slightly over salted, and began to fall apart, while the pot pie and all bites of its lobster and truffle glory will be missed. Michael Mina, at his spot located in the basemnt of the Foubtain Blue, suffers from some awful staff members and questionable decor, but makes for a strong menu offering that turned what would have been a dreadful experience into something redeemable.

Two experiences - One; dinner with my wife on a Saturday night. Two; by myself at the bar watching Monday night football 48 hours later. I wanted to like this place, but it's got a long way to go. Bottom line - you would never expect at first glance this place to disappoint. The hostesses are smoking and gregarious for sure...but ironically to me, the spiraling staircase downhill walk from the hotel lobby to the restaurant is a perfect analogy for how the evening is going to go. Michael Minna - you are making $ off your name, and letting everything else slip. So be it. I'm now going to second guess your restaurants. Why? Because this one DISAPPOINTS. From slow and discombobulated service both times, to Plastic wrap in my Mac and cheese, to the saltiest and grossest filet mignon I've ever seen in a "good" restaurant; to witness and feel incompetence to a patron with dietary restrictions, (my wife), to also see bartenders manage to ignore my existence for 20 minutes on an empty Monday night, solely focused on an after work party that sounded cool but left me hanging high and dry way too long...im sure it felt ok to y'all but didn't leave me feeling good. 5 small reasons that have added up to me pissed off enough to write this review. Coin your $, but you won't get another dime from me.

Starting with the positive, the food quality met my expectations. I ordered the Wagyu 6 oz however they had to take it back as it was medium rare and i ordered it rare. The service was dissapoointing, yes it was Valentines day and they were probably tired by 11:00, but thats no excuse, I was paying just as much for food as the people that were there at 9:00pm. The waiter couldn't wait for us to get out of there. After i found out that they have a 15% gratuity regardless, it made a bit of sense. This policy might be hurting them. Ive had better service at the Olive Garden. Am i happy with what i spent vs what i got in return? FLAT OUT NO. They need to try harder and not rely on their name to keep carrying them. PS: My girlfriend hates US Airways.

Everything here was outstanding! We came in September so my boyfriend and I were able to get the September 3 course meal special. Adding to that, we also got the crab sampler and champagne. Definitely a pricey restaurant but well worth it! Staff was fun and friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and romantic. When I stay at the fontainebleau again I will definitely be eating here.

Love this new hip new spot at the Fontainebleau. It serves as both a lounge and restaurant and has a laid-back but chic vibe. I had the duck spring rolls and the dry-aged burger which were both mouth-watering, but I can't stop thinking about those Michael Mina duck-fat fries. Service was attentive but not overbearing and I would definitely recommend trying this place before it becomes impossible to get a reservation.

In one word: underwhelming. Had a great week of dining in miami beach. Hakkasan, pubbelly, juvia, and stripsteak. Made reservations for Michael mina 74 for the lady's birthday dinner and the food and service was disappointing. The menu and reviews gave us the impression to expect a fine dining meal. However. The meal was lack luster from the get go. The waiters were more interested in trying our wine and not refilling our glasses than being on point at the several other restaurants we had dined at in days before. Don't fall for the reviews or the menu. Stick to stripsteak, hakkasan, and scarpetta. Not only will you yield better food, but better bang for your buck and quality. I wish it was different bc it was our last night in warmth, but the 2 out of 5 is a stretch. Ambiance is no better than a bar. Food was decent. And the service was lackluster.

Food was just "ok" but portions were for a small child. Ambiance really stinks. Don't ever have to go back there.

The restaurant had really nice character, I liked the decor and lighting a lot. The food was really really good. I personally had the Lobster Pot Pie which was the best dish of the night. The Lobster Cavatelli was just okay - lacked flavor in my opinion. I probably would have liked it more had I not had the pot pie as a comparison. The salmon burger was good as well, very spicy. Had a couple items off the specialty cart - he tuna/avacado/popcorn rolls which was amazing. The burrata stuffed tomato was eh - not worth the money. Overall, it was really nice and the service was really good as well, as were the drinks - I had The Kramer.

Taking Comfort Food to the next lever! Chef Michael Mina has done it again! Located in the lower lobby of the famous Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, Miachael Mina 74 is a wonderful American bistro. A lounge feel, dark yet comfortable, romantic yet masculine conductive to a night out in the town. Food carts parading around the tables before you order, tempting you into a flavorful evening. Our server's name was Thalia, and she was wonderful, personal, professional and very entertaining. The mixologist at the bar are incredible. Try the Mojito Guarapo or the Barrel of Monkeys, excellent! Why I say comfort food to the next level? Bone, Marrow, Lamb Meatballs, Lobster Potpie, Moroccan Short rib and much more. One of the things that impressed me the most was Chef Thomas Griese, he would go from table to table talking to all guest making sure that everyone was happy, NOW THAT'S FIRST CLASS SERVICE! I will return, I will recommend, I Love Michael Mina 74!

Very nice ambiance. If you've heard of Michael Mina, you know how exclusive his restaurants are. We ordered the lobster pasta dish and the lamb. The lamb was a bit fatty and the pasta had a very strong lemony taste that overwhelmed the other flavors. On the other hand the hamachi bites were delicious! The a la carte items looked amazing.. We ordered before seeing them. I definitely recommend waiting for the a la carte items, worth the wait. The food was still very good, just not AMAZING. The drinks on the other hand were fantastic. Amazing mojitos. Not that the food was bad, just not sure it was worth the money spent.

Solid four stars heading toward five big ones! This is a hip, well run, super cool place with a fun crowd. Bring your wallet, cause it's not cheap, but it's worth it. For cocktails, they have a real "mixology" feel, with unique drinks presented in a classy way. We started with the seafood tower, one "tasting" to share to which we added a monster prawn and additional oysters. It comes with a spiny lobster tail (pre-cut), two oysters, two shrimp, two stone crab claws, and tuna poke. All of the seafood was excellent. We moved on to the caviar service, which was not traditional. The caviar itself was top notch, but it was served with what appeared to be mini potato pancakes (fried) and mini flat French fries. They were tasty by themselves, but completely overpowered the caviar flavor. As an appetizer, it was "fun," but totally didn't work with the caviar. They should offer both traditional and "south beach" versions. In terms if service, the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Some of the bus staff need additional training, though, as dirty dishes sat too long and even remained after a new course was served. That should get better as management gets better control and experience with this location. The sommelier was like a magician - he disappeared. We selected a bottle of champagne, he came out to confirm and pour a taste, then vanished. He never stopped by the table again. We had to ask a server walking by if she could pour us the champagne. I'm giving them all a free pass since the restaurant just opened, but a sense of being fully looked after is required if I'm going to spend this type of moola. Overall, this is a creative place with a cool vibe - definitely coming back!

I have dined at several Michael Mina restaurants. We have been to this one twice. Admittedly, the second visit was much better, except for one big hiccup, but still, not what I am accustomed to. Before I go any further I have to say that Bourbon Steak is one my favorite restaurants... period! In fact, as far as a steakhouse, it's my favorite in Miami. We have gone more times than I can count. So, perhaps, it was unfair to compare this new restaurant to the more established Bourbon Steak or Mina's in San Fran. But, I do and, thus, the 3 stars. The first thing you notice about this restaurant is the "unfinished" look. Maybe that's what they are going for as it appears more of a lounge than a Mina type restaurant. Décor is very simple... almost too simple. As for the food, we've had the hamachi poppers which I did not love but, admittedly, the wife did. The prawns and oysters were pretty good as this restaurant has a big ice cart with all kinds of seafood to choose from. The presentation was pretty cool. I did not like, at all, the lobster corn dogs. Mine were a bit... soggy. The lobster part was good though. The beer battered fish tacos (2) were perhaps the best I had here. I was disappointed with the octopus which I love, just not here. Finally for dessert we had the donuts which were ok. Again, I'd rather go to Bourbon if I am looking for the Mina experience in S. Fla. The last time we went, the sommelier committed what I mentioned above to be a "hiccup". But, perhaps, I am being too nice. We brought our wine as I usually do when I go to dinner (corkage fee = $35). I brought a 2006 Chiarello Bambino. The sommelier went on what must have been a 10 minute story about how he loves this wine... which was OK I guess. Eventually he took my bottle off to the side and proceeded to open it. Once he opened it, he grabbed a wine glass and poured a FULL glass. I thought it was weird that he would serve our wine outside our presence but, whatever, no biggie. What happened next was simply unacceptable. He began drinking from it. He smelled it. Looked at it, and drank some more. He comes back with my bottle, and says "it's very good" as he pours me and the wifey a glass each. He then looked at us as he took another zip from his glass and said "enjoy" as he walked away DRINKING MY WINE. I... why... what just happened?

Giving 4 start cause only sampled appetizers, which were delicious. Also 4 stars cause still I think for this kind of place prices are a little too high. Overall love the menu and how items, spices, etc are combined. Bar attenders are friendly. Place is really nice, good crowd, clean, trendy setup.

The food is awesome. Our server was very unpolished. At least fifteen minutes passed before she came to our table and presented menus. (Here the server provides the menu, which she was unfamiliar with.) She served "complimentary" bread with no small plates. She served cold cappuccinos. It was not busy but there was a delay with everything. She was condescending and not polite. We advised the manager to remove the service charge. He complied without asking why so we offered an explanation. The great cuisine was overshadowed by the poor service. Oh, but the other service staff compensated well for our 'MIA' waitress - no pun.

Husband and I made reservation for our last night in Miami. When we arrived there was nobody at the upstairs check in. We proceeded to go downstairs and were barely greeted by the host and hostess. They sat us down in the back. I liked the lighting and really wanted to like this place because we know Michael Mina. My husband is former chef at Four Seasons and had won many culinary awards. NEEDLESS to say, we are a little picky when it comes to food and service. We dont mind paying for good food but the service should match. First of all it took 8 minutes for anyone to even approach our table. The waitress was just ok, she mumbled something and I really was NOT impressed. Then another waiter came over explaining about the cart service. He said "like" every other word and was so unprofessional. He then showed us the seafood tapas and it looked horrible! The shrimp and oysters looked old and the crab leg was so small. I would never pay to eat that! After him describing in such a poor manner my husband and I looked at each other and said "lets go" we were NOT going to pay for that experience or that food. The funniest and apalling was when we walked out the hostess said "have a good night"! Didnt even have a clue that we just sat down and were leaving! Unbelievable! Maybe people just dont know good service or don't care. We ended up at The Forge which blew us away!

Went here about a month ago for Miami Spice. Everything exceeded my expectations. We were seated in a nice comfy booth. Very cool atmosphere with dj playing in the background. Love the food carts that come around. It gives you a chance to have something to eat (appetizers) as soon as you sit down. Drinks were fabulous!!! We stuck around for 2.5 hrs. Our server (I wish I could remember his name-- Rouven maybe) was terrific. Probably some of the best service I have received from any Miami restaurant before. I'll definitely return!
(5)Jerry K.
For being in the overpriced Fountainbleu, the interior was underwhelming. Hamachi poppers and kale salad were nothing special, but the beignets... With Macallan 18, butterscotch and caramel. Yes.
(3)Joanna P.

We found Michael Mina 74 while celebrating NYE 2014 in Miami. As a observer of Michelin Starred Chef, Michael Mina, was on my bucketlist to try. This restuarant is located a floor below the main lobby of iconic Fontainbleau Hotel. A great mixture of old school glamour and modern day luxury. The restaurant is smaller than expected but is open later compared to LA eatery. Our reservation were for 1030pm. The decor is as expected in fine dining. Low lighting and romantic. Service was good. The food was exquisite. A great sample of the best of different types of cuisines. We had the stone crab appetite (seafood) which was fresh and light. Quail and foie gras (French) was well paired. Was the best foie gras I've had in a while. My main course was the Miso Black Cod (Japanese). It was on the salty side for me but it went nicely with udon noddles in savory both and generous amounts of salmon caviar. My fiancé had the filet mignon, medium rare. The steak came with a white truffle risotto. Was quite a treat but the steak came a little cold. Would recommend. The bill was a bit steep. $350 in total. But it's worth it. Will be dining at Michael Mina again. Vegas next time:)

The food here was impeccable. The service by Roberto was even better. This is an excellent alternative to the Vegas restaurant without having to get glammed up. Roberto offered several different options and worked around allergies. Great job guys.

I really wanted this place to like this place. I was so excited, got my hopes up and everything. Anyways the restaurant is pretty average and ambiance is definitely better than the food. The food was decent but for the price you're paying, go elsewhere. Mushroom broth for black cod was really salty and fish was overcooked, almost had a mushy consistency (I hate to be talking about black cod this way). When it comes to Fontainebleau Hakkasan will always be my number one. One positive thing, our waitress was nice!

I was so excited to go eat hear after seeing these good reviews but I have to say for a restaurant that tries to be high end it was terrible. We walked in they told us 30 minutes waiting so we went to the bar. Had good drinks but 30 minutes passed then 45 minutes we finally went up to hostess and she said 5 more minutes which turned into 10. We finally got seated after an hour wait and no one gave us menus or asked us if we wanted something to drink. We waited another 15 minutes and we finally decided to leave. No one even noticed or apologized for the terrible service. I had better service at Applebee's!

Great space. Nice vibe. Lobster corn dogs were good. The burger and fries were amazing. Maybe the best burger I've ever had. Service was excellent and management very friendly and attentive. The Rocky Road for dessert was a great choice. Hope to make it back soon!!!

Where do I even begin. Do not waste your time or money at this restaurant. Horrible slow service. Waited forever to get drinks and reorders of drinks. Waitress basically disappeared most of the night. Oysters were fresh and great but everything else was unmemorable including the experience. Kale cesaer lacked any sort of flavor whatsoever - a bowl of bitter greens and some cream sauce they call cesaer dressing. Entrees came out cold. Took forever to get the check just to get out if this place. Will not be back or recommend to anyone.
(1)Jeff W.
This place is a joke. They charge 7 dollars for a glass of water. Review your bill closely because they will overcharge you. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Great people watching! We sat inside because it was too hot on the terrace. It was lunchtime. The service was good and portions were adequate.
(3)Mary M.
Delicious burgers! We really enjoyed our dinner, but very pricey at $24 a burger and $18 a glass of wine. We were there when they opened at 6 PM and it was nice and quiet.
(4)Christopher Z.
The food is excellent, the staff is superb. Mina's take on American cuisine is well-rounded and has some outstanding features. The most noteworthy is the tuna tartare. Prepared tableside complete with a quail egg, capers and spices, it is just like being at Brasserie Lipp in Paris getting thier famous beef tartare. Exceptional also is the Caja China, pork three ways. The staff went out of their way to source a cheese plate (not on the menu) for us to finish our red wines. Perhaps it will appear on the menu soon?
(4)Maura A.
My girlfriends and I went there on a Wednesday night hoping to have some drinks and apps. From the time we sat down until the time out drink order was taken 25 minutes passed. Then from the time we ordered our drinks to when they actually arrived another 10 minutes. It took 35 minutes to get drinks!!! When the waitress finally asked what we wanted to order for food we obviously told her we were all set and she had the nerve to give us attitude! Then, of course, it took forever for the bill to come...but rest assured when it did and when we put the cash down the manager was there within SECONDS to collect the money and walk away. Terrible experience. Also...not really feeling the atmosphere. A dark rustic basement in South Beach??? I'll spend my money elsewhere next time I'm in South Beach or even the Fontainbleu.

Let's get to the point which is the food.. We ordered the lobster cavatell and literally had one bite and asked for the tab. This place should close it doors immediately. We spent $200 on garbage food. I live in Miami and for what we spent I could of gone to prime 112 and would of been better off. Instead we ordered pizza to the room and called it a night.
(1)Stephen S.
Very good food, service was terrible. If I could have given less than the fixed tip amount, I would of. Server was detached and inattentive, which is not surprising when they are are guaranteed a tip that is not attached to the level of service. We ended up having to ask the bus boy for service a couple of times. Bottles of wine are waaaay over-priced, at around 3x retail. For the money, you can certainly do better.
(2)Kiera M.
I complained on the fontainebleu website and never got a response back. Payed about $35 for 2 simple drinks that were both disgusting. My jameson and ginger had soap in it from the washing and tasted like crap. My boyfriend's jameson and ginger had a fruit fly in it. Both drinks were made by the manager on hand. Requested a refund from la fontainebleu since it was charged to our room, and never got a response at all. Didn't bother going back for dinner.
(2)H D.
A complete disaster. Upon arrival, even with an open table reservation, we were advised at the top of the stairs that we would have to wait approximately 30 minutes. We were not treated courteously either. We proceeded to go downstairs to the second hostess area and we were told that our table would be ready momentarily, and it was. Poor Communication to say the least. That was just the beginning of the adventure. Drinks took forever, bread is made to order and apparently they continuously gave ours to someone else and as a result it took over an hour to get a few rolls. Ordered the Roquefort salad and it came with just a speck of Roquefort cheese. Pretty incredible. We asked for some more and they did oblige. Small plates are small and large plates are not much bigger. Point being - there is no food and mind you, it is not inexpensive. This is not one of Michael Mina's better locations. Best to pass on this one.

Great food,, fun atmosphere! Another great restaurant at the Fountainbleau ...
(5)Lauren C.
Defiantly worth the 5 stars! Service was top notch, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Food was really good Kale caesar salad very good, ceviche appetizer was amazing. Lobster pot pie although a "special" of the house was tasty but not terrific. Personal preference maybe - like lobster clean and plain. Atmosphere was trendy, warm and Non-Florida feeling which to me is the best! Will be back soon.
(5)Elena Y.
The Chanterelle & Truffle Tart was topped with a couple of paper thin slices of black truffle and was absolutely delicious with an earthy and intense flavor. Its only flaw is that the pastry is a bit tough to cut making it a tad hard to eat. The jerk quail and foie gras was well cooked (it's easy to overcook quail), unfortunately the dish was very under seasoned. The shining star of the night was the miso black cod in a mushroom broth. The fish was executed perfectly. I wanted to lick my bowl. The passion fruit wanna cotta was tasty, but slightly firmer in texture than I would've liked. The beignet with the macallen 18 butterscotch was the biggest miss of the evening. No one at my table cared for the sauce.

This restaurant is among the best in all categories that I have had the pleasure to experience in my life. The room is spacious and contemporary. It's dimly lit with comfortable seating. The wait staff was incredibly nice and warm as well as available for anything at a moment's notice. If you take a sip of water, the glass is refilled immediately. The flatware and plates were changed with every course. The cold seafood cart was amazing! It held all freshly caught stone crab, local lobster, oysters, prawns and shrimp. As fresh as it gets. The pricing on the stone crab claws was a bit ridiculous at $36.00 each. I had two appetizers as my main meal, which were the pasta with lobster, which was stellar and the smoked salmon, which was just okay. My wife had the red snapper, which she loved. We also had a salad of kale and artichokes, which was very good, but could have used another ingredient or two to round it out. The desserts were amazing. The passion fruit panna cotta was bursting with flavor and fresh fruit. The chocolate, peanut flourless cake was superb. Overall, a great experience.
